Check out our shiny, new, very white refrigerator! It’s very shiny and new so it doesn’t really “go” with the rest of my kitchen. For those of you who don’t know, we’re living in on-campus family housing. Not what you’d call the lap of luxury. And from what I’ve heard, it’s really difficult to get appliances replaced. 

Our freezer wasn’t keeping things frozen anymore so the maintenance guys brought over this baby. When they told me they were bringing in a “new” unit I thought for sure it would be a recycled one that happened to work. So I was pleasantly surprised when they brought something from this decade!

So now we just need to think of a scheme to get our stove replaced. Oh, and do you think it’s possible they’ll install a dishwasher if we break enough dishes ???  Not on your life!
